Patons Sierra 8PLY 150g

I purchased this yarn 🧶 in Purple 🟣 Mountain 🏔️🌄 to crochet a triangle shawl.
The yarn worked up exceptionally with a great colour scheme and softness from the very 1st stitch. I ordered 5 balls, not knowing how the yarn worked, I only used 2 balls. I will definitely purchase this yarn again as everything about the yarn is amazing 🤩😍 from the 1st stitch, through to creating your project, washing, blocking and wearing!!!!!

I’m a big texture person so I avoid a lot of yarns like the plague but this one is so soft, especially for an acrylic blend. I used a 5mm hook instead of a 4mm because it definitely felt thicker than 8ply yarn I’ve used in the past and it worked up great! I ordered it in a few colors and they’re gorgeous colorways. Plus it shipped out and arrived so quickly which is a big bonus in my book!! Also I just had to get a yarn that had my name on it haha

I was very impressed with the prompt delivery from Craft2u and the email contact that I had for my initial enquiry of stock. The parcel arrived promptly and it was carefully and securely vacuum packed and wrapped. My mum was travelling from Canberra to my home in Belfast and she was able to bring my much sought after Sierra 1367 yarn with her. I had bought some on a previous trip to Aus, but didn't buy enough to finish a blanket for my mum, so I'm so pleased now to have the rest of the wool to finish the blanket which will then return to Australia with mum in September... So it's going to be a well travelled blanket 😂😍 Thanks for the prompt and pleasant service, highly recommend!

I always have several PATONS Sierra skiens on hand in various shades. Generous range of colour ways that knit & crochet beautifully. Lately I've been double stranding on 8-10mm needles (or 6-7mm crochet hooks) & the results are stunning. I use both the outer & inner strand from one skien on 8mm-10mm knitting needles (or 6-7mm crochet hook) which works really well. The resulting colour combos produce gorgeous cowls/neck warmers, scarves, beanies & blankets. This method does not work so well with paired items like gloves/mitts/mittens, booties or slippers as the colour changes make it difficult to produce matching pairs (unless using neutral/monochrome shades, that is, which will produce a more uniform colour scheme).
Quality, warm & soft yarn in a wide range of colours at a very reasonable price.
